Artists are invited to submit work celebrating resilience, culture, identity, and community while sharing their personal interpretation of “What does Haiti-To-Me mean to you?”

Following the submission period, participating artists and their work will be showcased on a dedicated Haiti-To-Me voting page.
The public will be invited to:
- Explore participating artwork
- Learn about each artist
- Read each artist's Haiti-To-Me story
- Vote for their favorite artist
The winning artist will receive a $500 cash prize.
EVENT CONNECTION
Celebrate Haiti-To-Me on November 5, 2026
Participating artists will be connected to the broader Haiti-To-Me event at FIU.
The event will include an Artist Meet-and-Greet from 4:00–6:00 PM, followed by the main event from 6:00–10:00 PM.
Additional event programming will include Haitian Storytelling, Original Artwork with Silent Auction, live music from Oli Duret, and Keynote by Jefferson Noel.
