    Haiti Air Ambulance Inaugurates The First Haitian Flight EMTs

    The inauguration of the first Haitian Flight EMTs is a monumental moment in Haiti. Since our inception in 2014, Haiti Air Ambulance has been dedicated to building our team of experienced Haitian personnel. The vision of our founders is to provide world-class medical care via emergency helicopter transport for Haitians, by Haitians.

    President Martelly visits HAA base

    We recently welcomed the President of Haiti, Michel Martelly, to our base. The President gave a brief speech, and even took the opportunity to try out a stretcher on the helicopter! We are immensely grateful for his continued support of this project.

    We Flew Our First Patient!

    Today, we made history in Haiti flying our first patient. 4 years after the earthquake, our dream of bringing a world-class HEMS program to Haiti has been realized!

    Our first helicopter is here!

    After many years of work by HAA volunteers, we now have our first helicopter in Haiti! We will be making our first patient flight very soon… Below are a few images from a press day we had for Haitian TV and radio.
